Application of The Fiber Separator Machine
Small tires often contain a significant amount of nylon fibers that can mix with rubber powder during grinding, reducing purity. Fiber separators utilize air flow sorting and vibration screening to effectively remove these impurities, enhancing the quality and market competitiveness of the rubber powder.
This equipment is suitable for all types of scrap tire recycling and is typically the final step in the process, achieving a rubber powder purity of over 99%.

Working Principle of the Fiber Separator
The fiber separator mainly consists of an inlet, an outlet, a frame, a motor, a vibrating screen, a wind selection system, and so on. Here’s how it works:
- After grinding and magnetic separation, the rubber powder enters the vibrating screen through the inlet.
- The vibrating screen is driven by the motor with high frequency vibration, so that the rubber powder is evenly distributed on the screen surface, forming a fluidised state, which is conducive to wind penetration.
- Then the fan generates a directional high speed air flow, which blows up and sucks away the lighter quality nylon fibres, and the heavier quality rubber continues to move forward and is discharged through the discharge port.
- The blown nylon fibres are piped to the collection area to prevent contamination of the environment.
