Workflow of the OTR Tire Steel Wire Separator

The OTR Bead Separator uses a combination of mechanical squeezing and cutting with a knife to separate the bead rubber from the steel bead.

  1. The disintegrated OTR tire bead is placed between the upper and lower press wheels.
  2. Once the machine is turned on, the press wheels clamp and drive the tire mouth to rotate slowly.
  3. At the same time, the cutting mechanism begins operating and cuts and strips the thick steel bead along the inner rim of the tire casing.
  4. The stripped steel bead then slides out of the discharge opening while the rubber can be recycled separately.
